MEET OUR FOUNDER/CEO
Saidah (sigh-ee-dah) Murphy is the Founder/CEO of Creatress Co. and the Founder/Host of The Creatress Summit.
Working as a Content Creating and Business Operations Coach, she equips Black Womxn Service-Based Entrepreneurs with the knowledge, support, and resources needed to tell their stories in the most authentic, unfiltered, and unapologetic way through creative media production. Saidah has 10 years of experience working in the marketing industry, and 8 years of experience in entrepreneurship. Saidah is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Communications and The George Washington University with a MEdu in Business Operations.
Saidah has managed social media accounts for major non-profit organizations like BHPi (Behavioral Health Professionals, Inc.), The Avalon Village (current client), and The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (current client).
Saidah has also managed marketing departments, served as marketing project manager for a mid-sized social media company, and has coached countless entrepreneurs on how to develop marketing and content creation strategies for their businesses.
Creatress Co. was founded in 2018 and focuses on creating space spaces for Black Womxn in business to heal and grow their businesses alongside like-minded individuals. The Creatress Summit is a 3-day Transformational, Healing Business Conference Experience.
Saidah is committed to teaching, supporting, uplifting, and employing Black Womxn. She believes in the power of Sisterhood and wants to help other Black womxn find their Sisters to help support and root them on.
Saidah is a single mom, and lives in Detroit, MI with her Daughter, Lena: future filmmaker, content creator, and business owner.
